Carl Kolchak! Even though Carl's heyday was was just a tad before my time, I'm still a dyed-in-the-wool fan. Kolchak: The Night Stalker was a little-known but much-beloved 1970s paranormal detective series starring Darren McGavin. Considered to be a major inspiration for the X-files, I'd also argue that Hellboy wouldn't quite be the same without it either. Moonstone comics have the license to publish new Kolchak stories in prose and comics, and this dyed-in-the-wool fan could not miss the opportunity to get to draw the man himself on a cover.
