These three illustrations in their original forms, (they've all been tweaked), were commissioned as variant covers for a magazine. OR WERE THEY? There's a mind-bending story behind these pieces involving many individuals, many countries, and unfortunately, not that many scruples. I won't expound beyond that here, other than to say: vet your clients. But if you see me at an event and buy me a beer, maybe I'll tell you the whole crazy saga.
