I'd designed this cover for the classic suit. I used the webbing to define the volume of that foreshortened arm and the bright spots of Spidey's eyes and Laura's face to draw the eye between them.

Cover art for X-23 issue 13 Published version. While I love Spidey's FF suit, I'd have made entirely different choices if I'd known we would use it at the outset. Of course it pops better than the red suit, but Laura's entirely lost.
